iPads R Us!: Use the iPads to meet the Common Core Standards

You have the iPads, your students want to use them, yet you have literacy standards that need to be met. How can you use the iPads and meet the CCS Standards at the same time? This session will introduce you to multiple creation apps, explain some of their varied applications in the classroom, and then give you time to explore those iPad apps. You will envision even more uses for each app as you "take a test drive"! Your new knowledge and comfort level with these amazing "digital dynamos' will enable students to increase their literacy and drive, as they create share-able products that "WOW"!

Participants will learn how to create a Weebly webpage, how to build pages including photo galleries, blogs and surveys and add links to student webpages. We will also discuss ways to use student websites as a digital portfolio. (Yes! Even early elementary students can do this!) We will be creating and sharing ideas for additional pages.
